The Heart Star by Christoph Meyer

A mini comic Christoph wrote after receiving a heart-shaped hole punch in the mail. The Heart Star is the story of a broken-hearted ghost from Gohio and her search for peace.

Here's a review by Maytina that appeared in Virus Zine: Put together by the same man that gives you 28 Pages Lovingly Bound with Twine, The Heart Star is a story of longing, set in an ancient land where 'tradition walks hand in hand with superstition', and is a fun read. The presentation is wonderful too, a sticker heart and a sticker star on the cover, the drawings are black and white with bits of red when fitting, and just really sweet. And while it may seem a slight thing to mention, there are several pages in the comic (and not all in succession, either) that have a heart-shaped hole punched through them that fits perfectly within the story that's being laid out before us here. I love it.
